 Many immigration civic campaigns are asking via social media for help. Movements like the immigration voice are trying to reach many people to ask for their participation in making a call to congress asking them the vote for the Eagle act. The eagle act was introduced back in 2021. This act helped immigrants without legal status to have better chances of being able to get employed. It’s hard for many immigrants to find jobs due to their legal status. The immigration voice campaign tweeted a post asking for the help of many individuals. This has reached many people from diverse backgrounds. Many people are retweeting this and supporting the cause. Many people are retweeting this and tagging multiple people to increase exposure. This is so important to the immigrant community because it can be such a significant impact on them. Some individuals work for a low-paying rate due to their legal status. Often, big companies take advantage of illegal workers. They know that they won’t defend themselves because they are not authorized to work in the United States in the first place. According to data, illegal immigrants could positively influence our economy if they had a legal opportunity of working. Overall, this act is very significant for the immigrant community and our economy.

    I did not know this bill existed. I know that if more people that have been in the country were able to gain some status they would be able to help pay into the SS system, and pay more taxes which would in turn help the economy. I hope that more people get access to rights. This is a great topic and I hope to read good things about the EAGLE Act in the near future.

Many people are not content with this. The real question here is, why did he do this first? Beto O’Rourke stated that this was just another political stunt done by Greg Abbott.   Where does the Latinx community stand when it comes to voting? Latinxs do not engage in politics for many reasons. In 2020 Latinxs were predicted to impact the 2020 presidential election significantly.
