Many lawsuits are being filed against “Biden over border”. Citizens are claiming that Biden does not know how to run the border and immigration. Many opinions are being shared on the current border status. Some are claiming that all borders should be shut down to fix immigration laws. Retired CBP officers are doing anonymous interviews expressing how they feel about the situation. Jason Perry a news reporter tweeted the following “American taxpayers are helping to fund illegal immigration across the U.S southern border”. So, what’s the issue here? Is Biden helping immigrants or did he over-promise on immigration? What are citizens saying about this issue? Congress member Bo Hines tweeted a post and a video stating that immigration laws are not being enforced and borders should be shut to fix this problem once and for all. President Biden had the support of many Latinx immigrants during his election. People believed in him and thought he could help the immigrant community. It’s been a year since his election, and many are concerned because he hasn’t spoken about the topic. Individuals are using social media platforms to bring awareness about this topic. For the past few weeks, several tweets are circulating about the broken promises Biden made. Many claim that his lack of action is overwhelming and are using hashtags such as #KeepThePromise to speak about this subject. So, what’s happening here? Why isn’t Biden speaking about this? Why hasn’t he done anything about immigration? Did he over-promise on immigration, or did he never care about immigration? The questions remain unanswered, and doubts begin to rise. What is the first thing that comes to mind when hearing the word "immigrants"? Let's take a moment to deeply reflect on that, on the meantime, my definition is: an immigrant is one who leaves his/her origin country to live in a foreign one. For the past few years, many topics about immigrants and politics have circulated through different media platforms. Some of these topics were positive while the majority were negative.
