Borders should shut down and immigration laws should be fixed!

Many lawsuits are being filed against “Biden over border”. Citizens are claiming that Biden does not know how to run the border and immigration. Many opinions are being shared on the current border status. Some are claiming that all borders should be shut down to fix immigration laws. Retired CBP officers are doing anonymous interviews expressing how they feel about the situation. Jason Perry a news reporter tweeted the following “American taxpayers are helping to fund illegal immigration across the U.S southern border”. So, what’s the issue here? Is Biden helping immigrants or did he over-promise on immigration? What are citizens saying about this issue? Congress member Bo Hines tweeted a post and a video stating that immigration laws are not being enforced and borders should be shut to fix this problem once and for all. Will there be a stop to immigration problems or what will Biden do regarding this issue?

Check out this short clip where Bo Hines speaks his mind about the issue:

  1. Great blog post, I haven’t heard any news recently about Joe Biden’s plan for immigration, so I decided to do a little research. On January 20, 2021, The Biden administration announced the “U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021” to “responsibly manage and secure our border, keep our families and communities safe, and better manage migration across the Hemisphere” (whitehouse.gov). The bill was introduced to the House on 02/18/2021, and there has not been any further actions. While some are blaming Joe Biden for not pushing the immigration bill, others are blaming Congress since the bill was introduced to the house and they’ve failed to take any action. There is not much news on the timeframe of the bill, and I don’t think the bill will be in motion until a citizens start fight for the bill’s progression.

“Fact Sheet: President Biden Sends Immigration Bill to Congress as Part of His Commitment to Modernize Our Immigration System.” The White House, The United States Government, 25 Jan. 2021, www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2021/01/20/fact-sheet-president-biden-sends-immigration-bill-to-congress-as-part-of-his-commitment-to-modernize-our-immigration-system/.
