Latinx Street Vendors became viral on TikTok??!! Here is why.....
A famous tiktoker named Juixxe became viral after creating a platform to help Latinx Street vendors in Los Angeles, California. There are tons of Latinx people selling different things in the streets of Los Angeles; some claim that this is how they survive, especially during this pandemic. Street vendors were being harassed and filmed for some time to be made fun of online. Many started a movement to protect and help these street vendors. Juixxe started recruiting funds from his videos to distribute them to random street vendors as an appreciation for their services. This became viral, and millions of people began contributing to the movement. Juixxe creates different accounts like Zelle, GoFund me, and Cashapp, where people deposit money for these vendors. Once the funds are collected, Juixxe goes on missions to look for street vendors and bless them with up to $1000. Juixxe approaches a street vendor and pretends as if he is going to buy something from them, and once the vendors tell him what the price is, he hands $1000 and states that they can keep the rest. He then explains his cause and why he gives all that money to street vendors. Some vendors cry with emotion, while others believe they are getting scammed. But in the end, he shows that it's not a scam, and his mission is to help many street vendors.

This is a nice gesture by this individual as many families are impoverished in Mexico. I do think it's strange to film nice gestures of giving money away as it can be demeaning to the one's receiving it on camera. The filming of him giving them the money is probably necessary in this case so people continue to donate. Hopefully his videos will help people be more generous as they visit Mexico and buy from them.
